The design demanded a bold approach to complement the architecture and the imposing red brick and sand stone. The restricted internal space for the gates when open required an intermediate hinge for each side behind the column. This also enabled the gates to be partially closed in the centre for private functions.

Height 2.8m. Stainless steel.
